The building is located at OTC where earlier the famous Jack and Jill supermarket was located. The place used to be a meeting point for travellers from various parts of the Country. The building which has been under construction for more than 10 years has been opened officially on Wednesday 15, March, as its familiar green net has been removed.
The owner of the buildingVictor Maina had earlier stated he had bought the building in the year 2006 at a price of Ksh. 72 million. He added that there was a delay in its opening as there was a pending case in court.
Residents and traders in the city have acknowledged its opening saying that the building will enhance business growth and development in the city. The residents recorded some videos indicating that people should get ready to be lost in the city as they try to navigate their way through.
