Residents of Nairobi County have been warned against heavy downpour that is expected over several parts of the county. In a weekly weather forecast, light rains to moderate rainfall is expected over few places during the second half of the forecast period. Therefore this means from Monday 31st January 2022.
However, day time temperatures are likely to vary between 24 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius. While night time lows are likely to vary between 12 degrees Celsius to 16 degrees Celsius.
According to the report shared by the Kenya Meteorological Department, the country's general outlook for many parts of the country has been revealed. Therefore most parts of the country are expected to receive sunny and dry conditions through the weather forecast period.
Therefore there is however a possibility of occasional showers occuring over few places in the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the South Eastern Lowlands and Highlands East of Rift Valley. Residents of the above mentioned regions have been urged to prepare for this rains.
The Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands West of Rift Valley and the Central and South Rift Valley, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Baringo, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bometi, Kisumu, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gishu. These counties are expected to receive sunny intervals during the morning hours and afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over several parts of the country.
