"Tumechoka" Kenyan Youth Claims As He Exposes Rot In Kenya Police Service (Video)

The Kenya Police Service is on spotlight after Kakamega youth reveals what he has been through in an attempt to become a servant of the nation.

According to the youth, he has attended several recruitment and training sessions for the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF), the administration police (AP) and even the General Service Unit (GSU) but all his efforts were futile.

In a video making rounds on social media, the angry middle aged man says that in all the recruitment sessions he has attended the recruiters have been asking him whom he knows in the police service for him to get a position to serve his motherland.

"Everywhere I went for recruitment the police have been asking me who I know in the service. I'm tired because I do not have a job but at the same time the government through its units is not offering a solution," the youth said.

Corruption and misuse of public offices has been rampantly growing in the police service and it is a high time the cabinet secretary, Dr Fred Matuangi should consider "cleaning the house" as Kenyans are tired.

All the rotten individuals in the service should be eliminated and if possible be arrested and charged with all accounts of misusing their offices as well as forcing Kenyans to pay for what they should be getting freely.

KDF, AP and GSU recruitments should be done fairly and if possible those involved should be mandated to have body cameras so that cases of corruption in Kenya Forces should be minimised as much as possible.

Corruption as we all know has far reaching negative consequences and this more often than not is to blame for several accounts of terror attacks done in the country as individuals who employ police employ unqualified people leaving behind the qualified ones just because they cannot pay.

Let us all say no to corruption and save our country as well as increase job opportunities for youths.
