Government Agency Orders Immediate Shut Down Of Apostle James Ng'ang'a TV Station

The Communications Authority of Kenya has ordered for quick shut down of a TV station owned by Apostle James Maina Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism.

In the assertion signed by CA Director General, Ezra Chiloba, Neno Evangelism Center-a broadcaster operating as SASA TV - was ordered to stop broadcasting live programming with immediate effect for a period of a half year."The Communications Authority of Kenya has directed M/S Neno Evangelism Center, a broadcaster operating as SASA TV, to quit broadcasting live programming with immediate effect. This order will be observed for a period of a six months," read the CA statement to a limited extent.

The decision was arrived at following investigations of content considered improper broadcasted by SASA TV during the watershed period on October 3, 2021.

The controversial Apostle had earlier claimed that some people were jealous because of the achievements his station had made and that such individuals should quit following or listening to what he preaches to his congregants.
