Irate Kisii Residents Burn To Death Four People On Allegations Of Engaging In Witchcraft

Kisii county is famous for its beautiful landscape made up of beautiful hills and green vegetation. This however has not prevented the county from being plagued with incidences of mob justice mostly targeting old folks on allegations of engaging in witchcraft activities.

Earlier today in Bomokona village found in Kitutu Chacha within kisii county, a rather unfortunate incident happened where four people were burnt to death over allegations of engaging in witchcraft.

The sad incidence was confirmed by local police boss as reported by Radio citizen. Engaging in withcraft is considered illegal and is punishable under the kenyan law. This however does not permit members of the public to melt instant justice on suspects. Those suspected to have endulged in the same should be apprehended by police officers before being charged in a court of law.

Mob justice is illegal and anyone found engaging in the same might get arrested and prosecuted. We should always let the rule of law prevail at all times
