News reaching Opera news reveal that Bungoma Women Representative has been involved in a road accident while on campaign trail in Kabuchai constituency. Wambilianga is said to have been with eight other people.

Although details of her condition are still scanty, it is believed that is in stable condition and has been rushed to Bungoma level five hospital where she is being attended to. The accident occurred on Monday evening after attending campaigns for UDA candidate in the fourth coming by election which is scheduled for this month.

Little is known about the other eight people who were in the company of Wabilianga when the accident occurred. Several news sources have reported that she is responding well to treatment even as several leaders are expected to visit her in hospital. The by election in Kabuchai has continued to heat up even as several candidates and political allies campaign for their preferred candidate in the election that many political pundits believe will determine the way forward for the region.
