Details have emerged on a dangerous gang of criminals that are terrorizing residents in Mahimahiu town which is found in the outskirts of Naivasha in Nakuru county.
The Saturday Nation reports that the dangerously armed gang of between three to six men that are reported to be traversing the region at night while heavily armed, terrorizing residents especially those unlucky residents who happen to meet them beyond the curfew hours.
A local adminstrator told The Nation that the police who were patrolling the area had to run helter skelter for their dear lives after coming face to face with the dreaded, daring gang deep during the night because they had not carried their weapons, and judging from how the criminals were armed the best option was to run for safety.
"The group of three to six people waylays unsuspecting members of the public during curfew hours," the local adminstrator told The Nation.
Even as police operation continues to weed out the tbugs, the area is still reeling from the criminal activities of the gang after a middle aged man was murdered with his body recovered on the side of the road. Naivasha DCIO Adan Hassan confirmed that the body was dumped a few metres from the main road.
