JUST IN: Huge Development as NHIF Declares Ksh 1,500 Penalty to All Kenyans Who Did The Following

The National Hospital Insurance Fund has announced stiff penalties for all kenyan Citizens who absconded paying the NHIF Contributions for a time span of one year.

The National Hospital Insurance Fund has today the 28th day of November 2022 announced that all Kenyan citizens who failed to contribute to the NHIF kitty for a time period of one year will have to pay a Ksh 1,500 penalty in order to have their NHIF cards activated.

The National Hospital Insurance Fund has articulated that the NHIF cards of Kenyan Citizens who failed to remit their NHIF contributions for the above stated time span will only be reactivated once they pay the newly institutionalized penalty.

Giving a glimpse of the instituted procedure to fill in the journey of paying the penalty, the National Hospital Insurance Fund cited sending Ksh1,500 to Paybill number 200222 as the way to go.

"Are you self employed and you have not contributed for more than 12 months? Take advantage of our NHIF Amnesty to reactivate your NHIF card by paying KES 1,500 via M-PESA Paybill 200222. Once you pay, your card will start working after two months (60 months)," NHIF stated.
