After the body of a 50-year-old businessman was discovered at his Karen house in Nairobi on Monday, January 9, 2023, he was found dead after a disagreement with his wife over Ksh 2 billion loan. According to reports from the police, foam was discovered beside the bed of Francis Kiambi Kiriro.
According to the police report acquired by K24 Digital, Francis Kiambi Kiriro was discovered dead in his bedroom foam next to his bed.
Mary Waigwe Muthoni, the deceased man's widow, told police that the night before he was killed, she and her husband had met with a family advocate and a relative for drinks at Big Smoke Bar and Restaurant in Karen.
Muthoni revealed that she and her husband had a falling out when she refused to be his guarantor for a Ksh2 billion loan he needed to launch a business.
Around 9 o'clock that night, the two arrived home, only to spend the night apart.
At 9:02 a.m., the family called a doctor at Karen Hospital, who verified the tragic news.
According to the police officers who investigated, the body showed no signs of trauma.
