Kisii County police comander Francis Kooli
Philanthropic Kisii County police boss Francis Kooli has won admiration from the social community after he acted with speed and counseled a distressed young man who was contemplating suicide after things failed to work as he anticipated despite all the concerted efforts.
Kooli averted a looming loss of life of the man identifying himself as Joshua Onsase who has been lamenting on Facebook for some time now on how his exploits in Nakuru city spanning five years have never borne any fruits and that it was time for him to surrender and exit the unforgiving world.
"Nakuru has been treacherous to me! Nakuru has humiliated, embarrassed and shelled hopes from me. What is it that never did to Nakuru for exchange of its fortunes? I am leaving this town with nothing. Five years wasted.I THINK NO ONE CAN FEEL MY PAIN." Read part of Onsanse's social media post that caught the attention of the senior police boss.
The distressed man had in one of the posts in his timeline admitted having numerous suicidal thoughts but the senior officer reached out to him and agreed to help him relocate to Mombasa.
A small fundraiser has already been conducted on Facebook where sh 20,000 were raised to facilitate the relocation as desired by the troubled young man.
He said no to Suicide and Chose to Value life. Stand with My brother Joshua Onsase give him a shoulder to lean on at his time of need. I am in support of his decision to relocate. It is said "when everything changes, change everything. Let us send him our support to enable him settle.
