The suspects were reported to have accosted their victim upto Karura forest before committing the unfortunate incident.
Victor Otwal was going aboard his Honda motorbike of registration number plate KMFE 123D when he was kidnapped.
Witnesses accounts revealed that Victor raised alarm drawing the attention of three bodaboda riders who tried to rescue him from the gun totting kidnappers who shot their colleague to death.
During the melee, the 2pm incident drew the attention of other fellow bodaboda operators who barricaded the roads to protest the death of their colleague whose lifeless body was abandoned by the suspects along the busy road.
The latest incident comes only four days after three armed men said to be kidnappers were arrested along Thika road with a stolen baby aged 2 years.
The incident was filed at Kiambu Road Police Station under OB number xx/45/20/20/2021 at 3.50pm.
The body of the fallen bodaboda rider was transferred Nairobi City Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects who are still at large.
