Due to the 10PM curfew imposed by President Uhuru Kenyatta across the country in the fight to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, accidents have been on the rise due to the hurry to beat curfew.
Another grisly road accident has occurred in Baringo County as curfew time approached involving an ambulance.
Rescue efforts have seen a only one person rescued from the accident scene. The victim who has been rescued is said to be the driver of the ambulance who was the only person inside the car during the time of the incident.
The driver has been rushed to hospital for medical checkup however despite not sustaining any injuries.
According to eyewitness of the accident, the ambulance was speeding before it veered off the road and overturned.
