A family in Borabu, Nyamira county has broken into a dance after their daughter returned after going missing for one year. According to report, Valentine Kerubo went missing in January 2021 from their native home.
Her parents have revealed that their daughter was kidnapped. Valentine recalled how she was went around with a lady who threatened her to produce her father or end her life.
During her interview with citizen TV she quoted saying this, " The lady who kidnapped me ask to produce my father. When I resisted, she would take me to different places including Nakuru, Thika, Kitui, and Vihiga."
Her father, Rogoncho Kennedy also told citizen TV the state he found his daughter. According to him, his daughter was unconscious where he called the pastor to come and pray for her. After some hours of she became conscious where she started narrating how her life was.
Kennedy, has urged parents to take care of their children especially when they send them to shopping centre to avoid them falling into trap of kidnappers.
