Motorists in Nairobi cruised on the 27km Expressway on Saturday as it was opened to the public for test run,But this morning one motorist took on social media complaining how traffic at the exit is blocked.
08:42 Traffic at the exits.Surely.
Here Are Some Of The Reactions From The Netizens:
𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫:Jam iko kwa express way lmfao😂😂😂wakenya tunakuaga kama siafu kufwatana kiufala ufala diamond hakudanganya akisema chizi karogwa Tena😂😂😂😂 express way why
𝐌𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐚:Elevating roads or adding more lanes won't solve the traffic situation in any part of the World. Design mass public transport systems, trams or train network and most important motorist to observe traffic laws!!
𝐊𝐦𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖:Well alot of experts predicted this but since its a test run let them do it.Its important 2 note NMS did 3 test runs 4 greenpark terminus but that didnt solve the problem of traffic since the model had flaws in the entry & exit point & this is the same case with the expressway
𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞:The term ‘Expressway’ should translate into ‘time saved’, and this omission was done by the same committee which decided on those plastic mounts on pillars for planting temporary flowers. They wasted money on beautification without highlighting the cost and sustainability.
𝐑𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐝𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐮:Dawa ya traffic ni ku reduce the number of cars. Ata ujenge barabara nono kuliko rais bado traffic itakua. We should embrace public transport and biking
