The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is mourning the death of Agnes Tirop. According bto Murkomen , Agnes was murdered while he was in his home in Elgeyo Marakwet by unknown people while in her home.
He further called upon the police to take a quick step and arrest the culprits who were involved in the murdering of the athlete.
Agnes was an a long distance runner eho participated even in international race competition.He concluded by sending his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and wishing her to have strength in order to overcome this difficult moments.
