A-35-year old man has committed suicide in the house in Milimani estate, Nakuru County.
The Seventh Day Adventist Church's pastor reportedly hang himself inside the house in Kyethivo on Friday morning.
The deceased's body was found dangling from the house's roof on Friday morning.
The body was discovered by his wife after she came back from the garden where she had gone weeding.
Led by the neighbours, they broke into the house where the body was discovered and informed the police.
Ouma said the deceased did not leave any suicidal note to indicate why he decided to take away his own life.
The OCS said only the man's identification card and a sim card were recovered from his pocket at time the incident.
"The reason showing why he took his life is still not known since he didn't leave a suicide note, but the police will conduct investigations and get to the root of the matter,"George said.
Mr.George said the deceased is a former primary school teacher who retired last year and was now a pastor at Good Chapel Seventh Day Adventist(SDA) Church in Nakuru County.
The police officer revealed that a post-mortem will be carried out at the hospital to ascertain the cause of his death.
George urged the public to share problems that could lead to suicide.
