Kenyans have expressed their sadness after a traffic police officer was knocked down in Valley Road, Nairobi. This has been confirmed by Traffic Commander Joshua Omukata who was quick to tour the scene of crime
This accident is said to have been caused by a speeding City Shuttle matatu. This was after the traffic officer tried to stop it by pulling it aside for inspection but ended up being knocked after the bus' brakes failed
This saw the police officer to be squeezed by the gigantic city shuttle matatu. Other than the police officer, this matatu ended up hitting four personal vehicles that were traveling towards the opposite direction.
The driver of the vehicle was immediately arrested despite trying to flee away. This comes barely a year after another police officer was knocked down along the busy Mombasa Road and died on the spot.
