It is not yet clear what caused the fire that raged even when it was raining heavily in the city today morning.

Even those who were not affected have felt the pain the investors are now enduring.

One of them is the National Chairman of Kikuyu Council of elders Wachira wa Kiago who could not hide his anger.

Kiago believes this fire and others in the past are not accidental but the work of arsonists at the behest of cartels intending to grab this prime land.

The want Nairobi County government to pay them compensation of about Sh20 billion.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko linked the fires to a former city MP.

Politician and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who is eyeing Nairobi gubernatorial seat gave the arsonists a Bible verse from Micah 2:1-3 that says;

Not even heavy rains could stop the fire.

“Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds! At morning light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and take them by violence, also houses, and seize them. So they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance”.
