City Hall To Spend 1.5 Billion Ksh To Complete Dandora Stadium And City Stadium.
City Hall has announced that it will spend 1.5 Billion Kenya shillings to complete the Dandora Stadium and rehabilitate the City Stadium.
This is in the Nairobi County Annual Development Plan (CADP) for the financial year ending 30th June 2023.
The upgrade of city stadium will take 1 billion Kenya shillings and the completing of Dandora stadium will cost 50 Million Kenya shillings. The Dandora stadium was stalled after EACC launched investigation's into financial mismanagement.
City Stadium is the oldest in Nairobi and it has been in a very sorry state ever since 2025 with no matches being played there and the renovations and upgrading will be done in two phase to see the stadium get back to it's glory days.
