Prepare For The Heavy Rainfall From Tomorrow If You Live In The Mentioned Parts Of The Country

Kenyan have been warned against very heavy rainfall that is expected over several parts of the country. Therefore the following Counties are likely to receive rains as from tomorrow onwards: Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kericho, Nakuru, Bometi, Kisumu, Migori, Homabay, Nandi and Narok.

All the mentioned counties are likely to receive sunny intervals during the morning hours and partly afternoon. However, there are changes of heavy downpour over several parts of the mentioned parts of the country.

In a statement released by the Kenya Meteorological Department through their website, afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over several parts of the region from Saturday till the end of the weather forecast period. Therefore all nights are expected to be generally cloudy.

According to the report shared by KMD, Turkana and Sambaru Counties are likely to receive sunny intervals during the morning and afternoon hours as from tomorrow until Monday next week. However there is a likelihood of morning and afternoon showers in the few places.

The Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi county (Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu and Tharaka Nithi): Morning are expected to be generally sunny and dry with occasional rainfall over several parts while afternoon showers are likely to occur over few places in the first half of the weather forecast period.

Moreover the remaining days are likely to be generally sunny and dry though cloudy conditions are expected over several parts of the region during the night hours.

Finally the North Eastern parts of the country is expected to receive morning rains as well as afternoon showers and thunderstorms over several parts of the region. Finally day time temperatures are likely to be generally high throughout the weather forecast.
