The government have banned Matatu from using Nairobi Expressway. This announcement just comes few days after terrible road accident involving Embasava Matatu and Prado reported in Mulolongo at the Expressway tall Station. That accident is suspected to have been caused by reckless driving and ignorance of a Matatu driver.
According to the latest post that has been shared online by Jalango Mwenyewe on Facebook, the government has taken that move to curb cases of tragic accidents. The traffic police officers will also be installed in different routes of Nairobi Expressway and also drivers have been warned against Overspeending, overloading and driving carelessnessly.
