Good News: Uhuru Ends Lock Down, Changes Curfew Time, Reopens Place of Worship in State of Address

UHURU LIFTS cessation of movement into and out of the five counties previously declared as disease infected areas.

"Nairobi COVID-19 caseload has gone done, showing a 74% decrease, same trend has applied in other zoned areas in April. Cessation of movement in zoned areas is lifted, curfew in zoned areas commences at 10 PM – 4 AM, effective midnight on this day of May, 2021" Uhuru

RESTAURANTS AND eateries to reopen with strict adherence to Covid protocols issued by Health ministry; bars to operate until 7pm.

The head of state has reopened places of worship with third of capacity allowed to congregate. Schools will reopened according to plan by Ministry of Education on 10th May

"In person worship shall resume, attending congregation is capped to 1/3rd of the capacity of the place of worship. Operations of restaurants & eateries shall resume, recommended to use outdoor spaces. Educational institutions to reopen according to calendar" Pres. Kenyatta:
