Accordimg to a police report seen by this opera news writer,the area chief Koiwa Emily Chepngeno reported there was a man who had died at Arong village, Cheptingting sub location of Koiwa location by the name Leonard Kiprono Ruto a casual labourer lying-sitting lifeless on his bed with heavy vomit in his mouth and upper clothing.
The police report seen further stated that the deceased reportedly returned home yesterday night from a drinking spree at an unknown location only for his brother one Erick Kiprono Ruto-who they share a room with- to discover this morning at around 7am that he was lifeless.
Police officers from Konoin police station visited the place of occurrence and the body taken to Kapkatet hospital mortuary in the neighbouring Kericho county for post modern in order to ascertain what exactly killed him.
Cases of people drinking to death in the agricultural rich sub county are frequent.
