Security officers in Kabete on Sunday 16th May arrested two suspects nabbed uprooting electric poles and vandalising street lighting and wires at Karecheni village.
Six of their accomplices however managed to escape. The suspects are said to have been doing this for quite some times now.
Below are some of the reactions from the netizens:-

Kilwol Cheruiyot Nilotic: So wanakuwa wezi? They came to my area and disconnected all support poles.
Cases of theft and robbery have been on the rise in recent days. This could have been occasioned by the void 19 pandemic that has subjected the people to very hard economic conditions.
What is your take on this? Why would someone steal electric poles for real? What measures and punishment do you suggest should be taken against them? Drop you thoughts in the comment section below
