Death is indeed cruel and non selective as it takes all types of people. Kenyans have taken to their social media handles to join honourable Amina Mohammed in mourning. This is following the death of her husband which happened this morning.
Khalid Ahmed is not known by too many people as he leads a highly private life. He has lost his life to the cold hand of death today at around 5.00AM at hospital in Karen. The deceased was just fine initially and experienced a short illness.
Amina is currently Kenya's Sports, Cultural and Heritage cabinet secretary. She also once served as an education cabinet secretary replacing Dr. Fred Matiangi. Therefore, she handed the seat over to professor George Magoha who is in up to date.
Amina and Khalid were blessed with two children whom he has now abandoned. It seems this has been a bad year for the CS since he again recently lost her brother. Ismail Jibril died in March, this year. However, that is what happens in the world we are in and life has to move on.
