Cattle theft is something that has continued affecting central people who continue to loose more animals to notorious thugs. This is something that has forced the authority to declare a shoot and kill order to those found stealing. Millions worth cattle are always being lost annually. This has gone to an extent where residents lunch some of the victims caught stealing.
According to orders from Central Regional Commissioner Wilfred Nyagwanga, the cattle owners have now been allowed to shoot anyone caught in the act killing him. These are operations that happen on regular basis where the owners wake up only to find goats, sheep and cattle missing.
Attempts to trace the animals has always enabled them to recover only a few of them. The notorious raiders might never find peace again following recent orders of shooting to kill to eliminate such habits. The animals are always slaughtered in the forest and bushes before being transported for sale.
