On the new year eve, Kenyans especially those living in Kitengela got sad news about the death of a daughter and her mother through a road accident. It was reported that the two were hit by a speeding Prado outside Quickmart Supermarket at Namanga Road, killing them on the spot.
Kenyans have reacted after more details emerged about this incident. According to blogger Wahome Thuku, the mother traveled from Maseno to Kitengela to visit her son identified as Willy Magero.
It was then that the mother and her daughter who lived with the brother were crossing the road near the supermarket when they were hit.
The new details have revealed that the driver of the car that hit them was a young man returning the car home before his father arrived.
It is alleged that after the incident, the car stopped 200 meters away from where the bodies laid on the road. Mr. Thuku further states that the car is detained at Kitengela Police Station.
