A lady involved in a bad road crash involving a prius car and a trailer at Kariandusi road in Gilgil Sub-County, Nakuru County.
Gilgil Sub-County Police Commander Julius Linge who confirmed the incident caused a three-hour jam along the busy road.
The lady who was the driver of the Toyota prius car was found screaming loudly, trapped in the motorvehicle wreckages.
Witnesses said the trailer lost control while on the busy road before veering off the road. It was then collided head-on by an oncoming Toyota prius car from Nairobi.
Reagan Ngama, one of the occupants in the trailer said they were, “they couldn't believe their eyes after seeing the trailer veer off th road.”
“the car was from Nairobi heading to Nakuru. And we were moving on high speed and we were unable to stop. We hit the prius car head on,” said Asunga.
The woman was rushed to Gilgil town hospital for emergency treatment.
The motorvehicle wreckages were towed Gilgil town police station awaiting inspection.
