|Photo; Aerial View of The Nairobi Expressway At Night|

The multi-billion 27km Nairobi Expressway is now in the process of being officially commissioned after it was recently opened for a pilot test. The modern way which sketches from Mlolongo in Machakos to Westlands in Nairobi has for a while now been opened for a test by the public before President Uhuru Kenyatta opens it in the few coming weeks.

However, the project having been welcomed well by many, a traffic Snarl Up has today early night been witnessed building up along the way as motorists waited for clearance in the Mlolongo toll Station. Aerial view of the express this early night has shown motorists queuing as they exited through the Mlolongo toll Station.

Construction of the Nairobi Expressway is being financed under the private-public agreement between the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), parent firm of China Road and Bridge Corporation(CRBC) and the government of Kenya. The road will be operated by Moja Expressway for 27 years in order to recoup the cost construction.
