According to reports from the local authorities who had arrived at the scene, says that the deceased was accused by the culprit for cheating on her. A fight broke between the alleged lovers where the lady attacked the deceased using a sharp knife killing him on spot.
According to neighbors and friends, the culprit suspected that the deceased by the name Eric had been cheating on her for sometime now.
The body of the deceased was removed by area chief with the help of the police officers who arrived on the scene after area residents had alerted them. The body has been moved to Kerugoya Referal Hospital Mortuary.
According to reports by area chief, the deceased was stabbed by the lady after he had come to visit the slain girlfriend at her grandmother's house located in Ciagiini Village in Kirinyaga County.
It is said that the deceased was murdered inside the house where the lady and her grandmother lived.
For a couple months ago, we have witnessed over 20 similar cases of failed love or love triangle gone sour.
