Kenya Universities Students Organization have called (KUSO) has condemned the arrest of several university students who were Allegedly arrested by police officers while conducting a meeting In Nairobi's CBD.
In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that several students were today arrested by police officers who caught them in Nairobi's CBD Allegedly conducting an illegal meeting.
Several videos have shared by Kenyans on different social media accounts showed the police arresting students who were eventually taken to the police station for more investigation and questioning, more information to be revealed.
Speaking about the arrest of the students, KUSSO has called out the police demanding the release of the students effective immediately. According to the reports given by the organization, they claimed that the students were exercising their rights.
This is happening at the same time when Orange Democratic Movement party politician, Honorable Babu Owino has also condemned the action stating that the action by the police to arrest the students isn't going to lower the cost of living in the country.
