The DCI Director Mohamed Amin has today lauded the ongoing partnership between the investigating agency and the German government
This was after he received a donation of 25 computers from the German embassy in Nairobi, as part of an ongoing partnership between the DCI and the embassy.
German ambassador to Kenya Sebastian Groth handed over the computers to the DCI boss in a brief ceremony that was held at the DCI headquarters.
Sebastian Groth lauded the DCi for the great job they are doing in solving criminal puzzles, adding that Germany would continue being a strategic security ally to the Directorate.
DCI boss was thanked for the donation he received and lauded Germany for partnering with Kenya in the security sector.
According to the DCI report, Mr Amin acknowledged the support extended to the Crime Scene Investigations unit which has so far received scientific crime scene equipment worth over Sh 50 Million and the Anti Terrorism Police unit which has received a total of 5 vehicles and over 30 motorbikes in the past two years.
