Kenya power has announced another planned power interruptions for tomorrow Friday 20th January 2023. According to the reports shared through their official social media platforms platforms only parts of Trans Nzoia county will also be affected by long hours of blackouts as from 9am until 5pm. Kenyans living in those areas and KPLC customers urged to use alternative sources of power.
Parts of Trans Nzoia county especially Naisambu, Aturkan, Naisambu, Legacy, Norek, Aturkan and adjacent customers will also be affected will also be affected by long hours of blackouts as from 9am until 5pm.
According to the reports shared, occasional interruptions are necessary in order to allow the Kenya power crews to safely conduct maintenance or repair work. Kenya power try to schedule these repairs at the least inconvenient times for their customers and keep them to minimum. Whenever possible, they provide the customers with prior notice before they interrupt service hence the list of areas that will be affected by long hours of blackouts.
