Mombasa police officials are currently investigating an incident that occurred this afternoon, after a woman was said to have fallen and died after traveling all the way from Nyeri to Mombasa to seek special prayers from a prominent preacher in Shanzu.
According to reports from a reputable source of information, the dead, Grace Muchiri, was waiting for the renowned preacher before collapsing and dying inside the church under mysterious circumstances.
One of the witnesses who was present at the time of the incident stated that they were in church when they noticed the woman was having trouble breathing, and that before they could do anything to help her, she died on the spot, prompting them to contact the local authorities for further investigation.
" We were all inside the church, and she seemed to be doing fine, despite the fact that she didn' t speak to anyone. She abruptly stood up before collapsing on the ground. We attempted to assist her, but it appears that it was too late because she died before we could intervene " , according to a witness.
According to one of the church members, the deceased woman had allegedly traveled to Mombasa in search of a specific prayer for her health, which was apparently deteriorating day by day. Grace Muchiri, the deceased, was said to have had a horrible experience with breathing problems that had plagued her life for some time.
