A middle-aged man has been killed by the irate mob at Gitunduti village, Mathira in Nyeri county after mercilessly hammering his own biological mother and a nephew.According to Kameme news report, the deceased aged 35 is alleged to have attacked her 72-aged mother before attacking his toddling nephew with the same hammer.The two are receiving medication after sustaining serious injuries.
However, the deceased is said to have been suffering from mental disorder for a while.The OCPD of the region identified as James has confirmed the incidence.He says that the angered mob killed the man at the spot before the arrival of the police.He has urged people to avoid taking away the lives of suspects and instead alert the police for legal action.
