RIP: Family and Friends of Kianjokoma Brothers Reveal Why They Planned Memorial Service

Family and friends of the two Kianjokoma brothers who ended up dead after being arrested by police officers for being out past curfew hours held a memorial service for them a year after their deaths.

The family is yet to be served with justice for their kins following the unfortunate event. They requested with the government to ensure that the case against 6 police officers involved in the deaths move fast so that justice can be served.

Human rights activists said that they are hopeful that justice will be served since more witnesses have been coming out to give their testimonies.

Family members and friends said that it was important to plan a memorial service no matter how painful it is so as to get a chance to pray for justice and that such an incident never happens in the area.

The memorial mass was lead by Father Ndwiga who prayed to God to comfort the family of the Kianjokoma brothers.

May God continue comforting the families and friends.
