Murder has become rampant among the youths today. It's increasing at a very high rate among the kalenjin brothers and sisters.
The 22 year old from Kenya medical training college (KMTC) loitok tok campus was killed at 'kamukunji' area by her boyfriend. After realizing what he had done, he decided to surrender himself to the police. The reason behind the crime is just an argument between the two about love.
It's high time now for us to realise how important it is to let someone go instead eliminating the person from this world. Love life might be difficult but with the right person no day you will be harmed because of it. Leaders from all over the country have condemned the act and they are calling upon elders to perform rituals to send away the behavior among the youths.
'You were important to the society, your memories will remain fresh in our minds as it was just yesterday, you were a great and person of benefit to us, let your soul rest in power,' condolences from friends. The following are more photos of Miriam's memories in the short time she enjoyed in this life.
