A 45-year-old school principal attacked by unknown assailants and her body dumped in a thicket, Siaya County.
The incident at Bondo Sub-county comes barely few hours when a Nissan matatu hit a bodaboda rider at Shell fuel station within the area.
This is according to the Facebook post by K24 Digital on Thursday afternoon
"His passenger Christine, 45, was killed and her body dumped in a thicket a few metres from the school." The statement read out.
The deceased identified only as Christine was heading back from a seminar aboard a motorbike when the thugs accosted them.
The body was discovered inside the thicket few kilometers from the school compound by first responders at the scene.
Police in Bondo Sub-county are now probing the circumstances under which the deceased met her death.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has since been transferred to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Police have launched investigations into the alleged crime incident.
