People Staying in the Following Counties Warned as Heavy Rainfall is Expected

Kenyans in the following counties should expect severe rain in the coming seven days. According to a report shared on official social media platforms, heavy rain is expected in the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Central Rift Valley, including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, West Pokot, Siaya, Kisumu,

Morning rains are forecast in a few locations, according to reports. However, showers and thunderstorms are forecast in the afternoon across much of the country. Several locations in the aforementioned counties are also anticipated to get nighttime rains. As a result, residents are warned to make proper preparations before that time arrives.

In the next seven days, the northwestern Kenyan counties of Turkana and Samburu, particularly Turkana and Samburu, are likely to get very severe rain in various locations. Morning rains are likely in a few regions, as are afternoon showers and thunderstorms in others, according to a detailed regional weather forecast period.

Rains are forecast to fall across the South Eastern Lowlands, encompassing Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, and Taita Taveta counties, starting tomorrow and lasting till Monday next week. Finally, rain is expected to fall in coastal areas of the country beginning tomorrow afternoon. As a result, residents were recommended to bring their umbrellas.
