After president Uhuru Kenyatta locked down the metropolitan counties sorrounding Nairobi, many Kenyans have been left with no option but to use illegal means to cross over in and out of the locked down counties.
The motor bike riders are currently being used to ferry passengers illegally past the road blocks, without the knowledge of the police who are manning the roadblocks day and night.
To ensure easy movement past the roadblocks, motor bike riders are saying that they are targeting passengers who do not look very clean, not fearing the police, those who do not have huge or many luggages, and those who are ready to dig deeper into their pockets by pay an extra coin.
This was revealed by the Inooro TV journalist who spoke to the riders who are ferrying passengers across the blue post roadblock, which separates Kiambu County with Muranga and other adjacent counties.
This happens as the Covid-19 Positive cases continue to surge on daily basis, with the government through the ministry of health advising Kenyans to strictly observe the measures to ensure that the iris does not spread further.
