Several days ago kenyans were treated to a piece of worrying news after it emerged that an irate mob in Itheguri village Nyeri county had mercilessly murdered a man in cold blood for stealing a banana.
The story went viral sparking serious uproar across the internet with netizens blasting locals who participated in the heinous act.
Well, famous Mc Karangu Muraya decided to vist his family where some shocking revelations were made.
It has emerged that the said man was suffering from a mental disorder and was not in his right status of mind at the time.
"I wish they knew Mr Gerald wambugu maina had mental problems, they could have not killed him...thank you all for supporting Gerald's family,may Jehovah enlarge your territories and may He comfort his family...said Karangu.
Police officers have been asking kenyans to ferry criminals to the stations after nabbing them other than ruthlessly killing them.
