Silibwet police station officer commanding station cannot believe it after his car was stolen by thieves over the weekend. The fact that the police are not safe yet they are the one who are supposed to over security to Kenyans raises more questions than answers.
The OCS John Magodu parked his car overnight as he normally does everyday only him to wake up and find his car is missing. He reported the case to the authorities and investigations are underway. This case has raised eyebrows as car theft returns after three years.
The car was parked outside county governor's office, county commissioners office, police headquarters and administration police camp. The daring gangs stole the car without any fear and to make the matters worse, the car belonged to a senior police officer.
What bothers Kenyans, is the fact that, the police are unable to protect themselves from these notorious gangs, how will they protect the local citizen without training and any weapon to protect themselves.
