29-year old teacher was arrested after being suspected of killing his Ex-Classmate over a vehicle.
Laminu Saminu was arrested for murdering his Ex-Classmate ASC II Sanusi Bawa, who was an officer of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps. It was realized that the suspect was deceased classmate during their final year course at Federal College of Education.
It was stated that on 26th November 2022, the suspect lured the deceased to an unoccupied building and he asked him to park his Golf Saloon Car Inside a garage in the compound. He then served him Poisoned locally prepared cow milk making him unconscious.
The suspect then took a big log of firewood and hit the deceased severally until he died. He then dumped the body in a well.
After commiting the crime, the suspect called late friend's wife asking for the car documents. The wife took an initiative to report.
The suspect was arrested and confessed killing his friend. The suspect was found in possession of A pack of rat poison, a big log of firewood and the vehicle.
In connection to this story, it is an eye opener to us to be careful with people we call our friends.
