The National Hospital Insurance Fund(NHIF) is a government corporation that provides medical covers to Kenyans over the age of 18 and those they have listed as their dependants.
The scheme targets those under the Government employment, those in the private sector and even the self employed people commonly known as the informal sector.
Since President William Ruto took over power from from his Predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, his Government has been making major changes in different government bodies for efficiency.
NHIF is one of the agencies seeking to make some changes to ensure that it continues serving the Citizens as required.
The agency has since informed Kenyans about plans to change the current logo which is part of branding. Through their social media pages, they posted major logos for consideration and Kenyans were asked to chose their favourite one.
However, according to the comments by Kenyans, the move to change the logo has not gone well with them as they feel it is a misplaced priority.

Majority noted that the agency should instead focus on how to improve on their services instead of changing the logo.

Benson Mwangi: Besides the logo,kindly ensure you keep posting important info regarding your different services, answering queries raised promptly, as well as ensuring what you preach hear is what we find on the ground.
Helton Munee: The best brand that can we many is the heart of quality service, safety assurance of our funds, ease in acquisition of service no matter where you are and guarantee of service delivery. Otherwise even you reband heaven , walls of Jericho or even baptize afya house its a hot air
