Police Officers in Nairobi are investigating an incident where a patient at Kenyatta National Hospital Allegedly died after jumping off from the 7th floor of the hospital.

In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that the deceased who has been identified as Timothy Kinuthia was declared dead by doctors who rushed to attend to him.

A police report has revealed that the deceased had been admitted to the hospital where he was being treated before the tragic incident occurred. Security guards who spoke to the police revealed that they heard a loud thud, went to check what was happening, they found the deceased.

The hospital management who spoke about the incident has revealed that they are working together with the police to find out what happened, and why the deceased allegedly decided to kill himself.

Kenyatta National Hospital has also confirmed that the deceased might have been depressed before the incident stating that this is not the first time such a thing has happened by confirming that they have Rescued several people.

While reacting to his death, Kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions on the matter have called upon the government to declare mental health issues a national priority as soon as possible.

According to the reports given by most Kenyans, they claimed that it is so unfortunate that the government is yet to do this even though several Kenyans have been losing their Ives in different parts of the country, most cases being blamed on poor mental health.

This is not okay, the government through the ministry of Health should look into this kind of Case.
