The duo trekked with a customised handcart which they had purposed to gift President William Ruto.
Their efforts to access the president at State House Nairobi proved futile; a good samaritan who came to their rescue has been hosting them in the city for a couple of weeks.
They want to meet the president before embarking on their journey back home.
A fortnight into their arrival in the city, the two women are yet to meet with the president and have also lacked the means to return back home.
