To their surprise, police officers revealed that the suspect was found with several guns, a full ammunition of bullets, one uniform that belongs to the Kenyan Defense Forces, a jungle uniform belonging to the soldiers of the United States of America along with other things.
This was followed by a dramatic scene after the suspect who has been identified as Kiplimo was taken to the police station for more investigation and questioning over the same. While reacting to this incident, the directorate of criminal investigations has called upon kenyans to make sure they work hand in hand with the police in order to reduce the increasing rate of crime in Kenya.
According to the reports given by police Spokesperson Bruno Shioso, he called upon kenyans to stay calm and enjoy the oncoming holidays in peace. However, he said that in as much as the police will be out here protecting kenyans they should also do their part by reporting any suspicious activities in their residence.
This is happening at the same time when the interior Cabinet secretary, Dr Fred Matiangi has revealed that all police officers will be required to work adding that no police officer was going home for Christmas.
Matiangi who was addressing the issue of insecurity in the region said that this was going to happen due to the fact that they want to make sure that no criminals take advantage of kenyans who'll be celebrating Christmas celebrations.
