There are some entities that you would not expect a happy message to come from. Such are like the Kenya Police and the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI). This is because of the edgy relationships between the police and the citizens, the groups are always finding themselves on the wrong side of each other.
Today the DCI has however surprised Kenyans with warm wishes as they head to the Christmas holiday. In a message communicated through the DCI's official Twitter handle, the head of state security entity Mr. Mohamed Amin and the entire staff wished Kenyans divine protection, good health, peace and long life.

"As we celebrate this year's Christmas holiday, the Director of Criminal Investigations Mr. Mohamed I. Amin, EBS, OGW, 'ndc' (K), Staff and the entire DCI family wishes you and your family divine favour, good health, peace and long life," the tweet read.
"May the true spirit of Christmas light your path leading to a blessed and prosperous new year 2023! Baraka!" they added.
