The Director General of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is said to have visited vulnerable families that are living in Wajir County.

The Director General, Amin Mohamed, has asked Kenyans to be mindful of their neighbors during this festive season and to help wherever they can.
This morning, reports intimate that detectives from the DCI Headquarters along Kiambu Road travelled all the way to the North Eastern County of Wajir, to visit vulnerable children found in various Children’s Homes.
Food as well as non-food items were donated and gifted to the seven children’s homes and children living with disabilities within the County of Wajir.
Here is a statement from the DCI, "It's reported that 1,075 children that are drawn from Wajir Special School for the mentally handicapped, the Wajir School for the deaf, Wajir Education Welfare Organization, Reaya AMA orphanage, the ICF orphanage, Shalatey orphanage as well as the Catholic integrated Primary School for the blind children are said to have benefited in the generosity that was spearheaded by the DCI Director, Mr. Mohamed Amin."
Mr. Amin has asked Kenyans to be extra mindful of those that are less fortunate in the society and to help them during this time of giving.
