Details of the last phone call made by murdered Catherine Nyokabi have been disclosed. Catherine had allegedly made a phone call to her house help who took care of her six year old daughter at their home in Kasarani. The house help has revealed that Catherine had called and promised to send her money to buy supper. Later on she did not send the money and they kept wondering what had happened after calling her severally without any response.
Catherine was later found in Juja murdered and her body lying beside his boyfriend's car who is a married man. Evans Karani the boyfriend to Catherine left the vehicle after it got stuck in mud. Detectives got the information about the car that had been left desperately and upon investigations it was realised that it belonged to Karani.
According to the detectives from the homicide department, the body of Catherine was mutilated and burnt with acid beyond recognition. Detectives guided by Karani's phone signals arrested at him at his rental home in Githurai. Catherine's body is now at city mortuary as the family start the burial arrangements.
